„Avis Medica” Multi-purpose Hospital for Active Treatment with a contribution for the development of

„Avis Medica” Multi-purpose Hospital for Active Treatment, town of Pleven with Manager Dr. Vladimir Andreev was awarded a “Golden Seal” and a “Golden Badge” by the “Council of the European Scientific and Cultural Community”. The prestigious insignia of honor are bestowed on cultural, scientific, and business institutions, which have contributed to the development of science, culture, and economy.

The nominations for Honorary Members of the “Council of the European Scientific and Cultural Community” are made by famous Bulgarian scientists and creators, having international recognition. These insignia of honor certify the contribution of „Avis Medica” Multi-purpose Hospital for Active Treatment, town of Pleven, to the development of Bulgarian medicine, as well as, the public acknowledgement and high prestige. The seal can be affixed to all significant documents of the hospital, and the badge has been made from 24-carat gold at the Mint of Bulgaria and has the shape of an open book.

A “Golden Book” have received a number of European scientists, among them, one of the authors of European Union economic strategy – Prof. Nick Von Tunzelmann. Winners of the prize are also Prof. Alexander Boxemberg and the geologist Acad. Nikolay Yushkin. The prize has also been awarded to many Bulgarians, who have made their contribution to the development of Bulgarian science, culture, and medicine – Prof. Leandar Litov, PhD – a physicist, head of a scientific body at CERN, Prof. Violeta Nikova from the Institute of Genetics at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Prof Dr. Damyan Damyanov, MD – a physician and Chairperson of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, etc. The institutions, winners of the “Golden Seal” award for European management in medicine, who are Honorary Members of the “Council of the European Scientific and Cultural Community”, have been presented at the International institutions and donors, at European capitals and in the towns having an honorary statute of Unique European Cities.
